Regrettably the Spring Break will not be able to go ahead. Warner Leisure Hotels have refunded our deposit and members should have received their refunds.

Unfortunately we will not be able to hold the Petanque competition in June.

In the second half of the year, we are hoping to resurrect some of our previously planned events:

  • Farnborough wind tunnel tour

  • Walk at Winkworth Arboretum

These will all be by personal transport not coach so you can avoid getting too up close and friendly!

Tuesday 22nd June

Savill Gardens, Virginia Water

Organiser

Michael Butcher

Everyone attending should now have received the Information Sheet about the event from Michael Butcher and also a request for payment for £14 per attendee from Chris Tilley.  If you thought you were booked on the event and have not received either of these emails, please let us know.

Tuesday 27th July

Cream tea and quiz

2:30 to 5

Organiser:

Peter Buck

We already have 37 booked on this event at Crondall Village Hall and can accommodate more.  There will be tables for teams of six to eight depending on numbers attending.

Peter Buck will be your quiz master as usual with a strong supporting cast organising refreshments etc.

The cost will be £11 to be collected in June (post June 14th when we will know from Boris if we can proceed as planned).

Wednesday 22ndDecember

Mill at Sonning

Organiser:

Terry Berridge

This 2011 musical based on the 1935 film of the same name, tells the story of Broadway sensation Jerry Travers who dances his way across Europe to win the heart of society girl Dale Tremont.

This event was previously scheduled for last Christmas.  Although many people may have forgotten whether they signed up for that event, others will not want to lose a place they think they have booked.  So, we are emailing everyone who booked for the 2020 event and asking them to either confirm or cancel their booking.  If everybody wants to keep their existing booking, we will have 32 bookings i.e. two still available.  We will also run a waiting list.
